Axl Rose allegedly collects FIFTY PERCENT of Guns N’ Roses income, according to former manager Alan Niven.
Alan revealed this on a recent episode of a GNR-themed podcast called Appetite For Distortion, “It’s a control thing with Axl . . . 50%, okay? That, to me, is anathema. He is not Guns N’ Roses... They were five individuals."
Niven managed the band from 1986 to 1991 but was fired by Axl, against the wishes of the other bandmates.
He went on to say, “It was a chemistry. It was a moment. But Axl wants to be in control of everything all the time. And look what that gets you. A boring solo record and a [crappy] thing of punk covers. And that’s it.”
