Did you catch any concerts this year? Or maybe the better question is, how much did you spend on concerts this year? The biggest earners in rock were Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones, and Metallica.

Springsteen and the E Street Band were the biggest earners in rock, landing at No. 5 on Pollstar’s year end list with a $251 million haul. The Stones weren’t far behind, ranking 6th with $235 million in ticket sales. While Metallica came in at No. 9, making $179 million from 24 shows.

If you add up the total gross of all three of those tours it still wouldn’t add up to the highest grossing tour of the year. Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour grossed $1.043 billion across 80 shows and extended its reign as the highest-grossing tour in history.
