As you may know I also do a show on our Orlando Classic Hits station 98.9 WMMO. Our morning madman, Jay, posted about the debacle in the REO Speedwagon camp. So when I say that Bruce Hall responded to ‘us’, I mean he responded to my coworker Jay in Orlando.

If you’re not aware of the drama, the band’s hometown of Champaign, Illinois is hosting a celebration of the band in June. However the day of that celebration is the same day Kevin is still on tour in Oregon with the Brotherhood of Rock with Styx, so he clearly couldn’t attend an event in Illinois on the same day.

Kevin has stated he feels that date was chosen to specifically exclude him from the celebration, and he’s hurt and upset by it.

So when Jay posted on WMMO’s Facebook page about the situation, he captioned it with this: "Kevin isn’t happy with his former bandmates and rightfully so! I’m sure there’s more to the story, there always is. However, until I hear more, I side with Kevin on this one. -Jay"

Well, Jay definitely heard more! REO Speedwagon’s very own Bruce Hall responded personally to Jay’s post.
